Jamie Lasiter has been the subject ofat least one customer complaint that we know about. According to Jamie Lasiter:

“The allegations made in the FINRA reported customer complaint for investment losses were [redaction] is an insurance customer with my office. One of my team members, Lydia Rangel, took money from him from January 2012 to December of 2016. She worked with him solely because he spoke Spanish and trusted her with his insurance as well as his personal bills. She would go to [redaction] and tell him he owed money on his insurance premiums and he would give her blank checks he had signed or make them out to her for the amount she requested. Over the 4 year period, he gave her $345,000 in checks that she cashed and pocketed the money. Lydia would also use his bank account information and make eft payments on her own insurance policies here at the office. The amount of these transactions was $60,384. 89. State Farm accounted for the eft payments and my business policy paid $60,000 for the employee dishonesty to the customer. I was responsible for the $384.89 out of my pocket. [redaction] has filed suit against Lydia and myself for the recovery of his funds. The suit states that I am responsible due to lack of oversight, misappropriation and misrepresentation of products.”

The customer complaint filed against Jamie Lasiter’s current employer State Farm VP Management for investment losses caused by the alleged misconduct is pending as of the date of this report.
