Attorney Pearce is the law firm's founder and principal trial lawyer. He was admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Florida and New York more than 35 years ago. Mr. Pearce has been a member of the Florida and New York Bar since 1982 and 1980, respectively. He is a Certified Florida Circuit Court Mediator and a respected mediator in the FINRA Mediation Program. Attorney Pearce has also served as a Federal court-appointed receiver. Because of his experience and qualifications, he is often called upon to act as an arbitrator, mediator and expert witness in complex securities, commodities and other investment disputes. Attorney Pearce has tried a multitude of arbitrations and litigated claims on behalf of both investors and financial professionals including, in the case of investor representation, breach of fiduciary duty, unsuitable recommendations, mismanagement of investment accounts and overconcentration of funds. On behalf of brokers and financial advisors, Mr. Pearce has represented clients with cases involving employment contract disputes, wrongful termination, Form U-5 abuse and defamation, and CRD expungement.
